At the time these 2 bands were definitely 2 of the hottest up-and-coming bands of the day.

 

TWISTED SISTER released 'Stay Hungry' on the very day this photo was taken, and today September 9th some 39 years ago MERCYFUL FATE released what is arguably their masterpiece, 'Don't Break The Oath'.
