1987: Axl Rose of GUNS N'ROSES rips into PAUL STANLEY of KISS

Axl Rose 1987

Recently an audio recording of a GUNS N' ROSES concert from 1987 in Amsterdam, Netherlands surfaced, and in that recording you can hear a clearly very angry Axl Rose tell Paul Stanley of KISS to do unmentionable acts to an also unmentionable bodypart.

You can listen to Axl's rant here:

To this day it's unclear exactly what Paul Stanley said or did to get such a response from Axl Rose, but it is common knowledge that Paul Stanley was considered to produce 'Appetite For Destruction', and that the band and Paul didn't really gel, so it didn't happen in the end.

A year later it was a somewhat different story when Axl Rose actually praised KISS somewhat in an interview from August of 1988:.

""I like KISS in their early days. I think the only thing that we have in common with KISS now is that they like to make money and they like girls. But as far as their music goes, basically, their music is like second fiddle to their other desires while our music comes first."

Now, it's a very interesting thing to imagine what would have happened to 'Appetite For Destruction' if it had actually been produced by Paul Stanley....what would it have sounded like, and more importantly, would it still have become one of the biggest selling albums of all time?
