Lita Ford birthday

 

Happy birthday to Lita Rossana Ford (born on 19th of September 1958) - English-born guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter. 

 

She found fame at a very young age as the lead guitarist for all-female rockers The Runaways in the mid-to-late 1970s, and then had a very successful solo career that hit its peak at the end of the 1980s. 

 

1989's "Close My Eyes Forever", (duet with Ozzy Osbourne) remains Lita Ford's most successful song, reaching No. 8 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart.
