National Beer Lovers Day on September 7

Today is National Beer Lovers Day!

The International Beer Day celebration was started in 2007 in Santa Cruz, California by beer lover Jesse Avshalomov as a small tribute to the beverage with friends and community. Within a year it had grown, and the first widespread celebration happened in 2008 and has prospering ever since.

Observing National Beer Lovers Day:

National Beer Lovers Day can be observed by enjoying your favorite brew, by trying a new brew, or by introducing your friends to a new brand of beer. It's also a good day to go on a pub crawl and enjoy the stouts, ales, malts, and lagers that can be found in all of their variety. While celebrating this holiday, don't forget to use the hashtag #BeerLoversDay to spread the word about this holiday.
