Is ZZ TOP lip-synching in concert now?

The last couple of years have seen many reports on our favourite rock stars being caught using backing tapes or even lip-synching in what was supposed to be a live concert.

 

Bands like KISS and MOTLEY CRUE comes to mind.

 

Now the latest band to be caught up in this ongoing controversy is ZZ TOP. 

 

Footage has surfaced online from a concert in The Woodlands, Texas on July 30th 2023, where Billy Gibbons clearly can be seen lip-synching to the song 'under Pressure' - watch for yourself here:

 

 

 

It seems that the combination of recent advancement in technology and the fact that most of our favourites rockers are now getting in their 70s is a sliding slope.
